How It Works

How to Execute your Inspection Process

within AXIS

Step 1: Accessing the work order

Access your asset, either through the red tag, asset tab, or the work management tab. Click the eye button to view the asset’s work order.

Step 2: Customizing indicators and approving the workpack

Enter the workpack, customize your work order indicators and approve the scope of work. Easily generate a hard copy to manage asset reliability management manually.

Step 3: Entering your results- asset reliability management

After the scope of work is approved, you can enter results. Choose your asset’s condition in five states (No Action Required, Monitor, Action Required, Immediate Action Required, and Not Applicable). This enables you to analyse and trend your results easily- allowing for ease in asset reliability management.

You can also attach images and documents in the work order.

Step 4: Anomaly management

Click on critical asset states such as Action Required or Immediate Action Required, and the system can display a notification pop-up box.

You can categorise, prioritise, and track your anomalies within the software. Raise notifications outside AXIS in your CMMS.

This helps you keep track of your facilities’ anomalies in real-time and allows for asset reliability management.

Step 5: Review your Inspection Results

Confirm and sign the inspection results within AXIS, then review, confirm, and sign the reviewed inspection report.

Step 6: Inspection Report and Dashboards

AXIS stores your report which can be viewed in a few clicks.

Your inspection results are aggregated and visualized in the form of dashboards – so you can easily see your facilities’ current condition and risks for asset reliability management.

How to Execute Risk-Based Inspection

within AXIS

Step 1: Accessing the assessment

Access your asset, either through the red tab, asset tab, or the work management tab. Click the asset to view the applicable assessments.

Step 2: Setting up your Risk-Based Inspection

You can choose to mark “assessment as complete” or “assessment not required” if Risk-Based Inspection is not applicable for this asset.

Archive, delete assessments, or copy  damage mechanisms for assets that are of the same design and operating condition.

Step 3: Populating the External Assessment

Shows a 5×5 interactive risk matrix estimating impacts. While AXIS uses a semi-quantitative internal and external Risk-Based Inspection evaluation.

To complete the external assessment, enter the Likelihood of Failure, estimated Economic, Health, Safety, and Environment Impacts in the event of failure.

AXIS automatically generates your Consequence of Failure, Inspection interval, and the next inspection date – ensuring asset reliability management.

Step 4: Populating the Internal Assessment

Executing  the internal assessment is similar to the external assessment with the addition of populating corrosion rates and confidence factors for the Likelihood and Consequence calculations.

Step 5: Assessment Report and Dashboards

Easily view and generate reports in a few clicks. View your assessment results in aggregated dashboards to easily see your facilities’ current condition and risks.
